Our client is a boutique events services business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visual Leadership & Art Direction Define and oversee the overarching visual identity, aesthetic tone, and artistic direction for high-profile events, luxury brand activations, and large-scale ceremonies across Dubai, ensuring all visual outputs align perfectly with client brand guidelines.
- Multidisciplinary Concept Design Conceptualize and develop comprehensive visual narratives, graphic branding systems, and thematic mood boards, collaborating with 3D designers and copywriters to pitch winning event aesthetics to corporate and government clients.
- Print & Digital Asset Production Direct the creation of all graphic touchpoints, including large-format event signage, stage backdrops, digital screen content, motion graphics, and premium collateral, maintaining flawless typography and composition throughout.
- On-Site Aesthetic Quality Control Supervise the physical installation and setup phases at venues, working closely with print vendors, scenic fabricators, and lighting directors to guarantee that the final look matches the approved artistic vision flawlessly.
- Studio Mentorship & Quality Standards Mentor mid-weight and junior graphic designers, establishing clear creative workflows and reviewing all visual assets to maintain an exceptionally high standard of design output within the agency.
Experience:
- Art Direction & Agency Experience Possess a minimum of 6 to 8 years of creative experience with a strong focus on live events, experiential marketing, or brand activations, having worked previously as a Senior Art Director or Senior Designer.
- Advanced Design Tools Mastery Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite—specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign—coupled with a strong understanding of motion graphics design, video mapping, and interactive media workflows.
- Dubai Production & Print Knowledge Exhibit comprehensive understanding of local print materials, fabrication techniques, and large-format installation constraints, ensuring all artistic assets are optimized for physical production in the UAE.
- Portfolio of Live Experiences Showcase a stellar design portfolio that highlights masterful typography, spatial branding, visual storytelling, and a proven track record of bringing massive live event environments to life.
- Education & Creative Background Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related creative discipline, along with exceptional presentation skills to confidently sell artistic concepts to C-level stakeholders.
