Our client is a boutique events services business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership & Delivery Direct and oversee the end-to-end planning, production, and execution of a premium calendar of luxury brand activations, high-end corporate events, and exclusive private parties across London, ensuring flawless delivery that upholds the boutique agency’s reputation.
- Client Management & Consultation Act as the primary strategic advisor to high-net-worth individuals, luxury brands, and corporate clients, capturing their unique visions and translating them into highly personalized, sophisticated, and memorable event experiences.
- Financial Management & Profitability Take full accountability for agency event budgets, pricing strategies, and profit margins, meticulously tracking expenditures, negotiating supplier contracts, and driving cost-efficiencies to maximize profitability across all projects.
- Vendor & Venue Relations Cultivate and manage an elite network of London’s top-tier caterers, production specialists, entertainment talent, and boutique suppliers, while maintaining strong relationships with iconic and unusual venues across the capital.
- Team Management & Upskilling Lead, inspire, and resource a dedicated, agile team of event managers and coordinators, fostering a culture of creative excellence, meticulous attention to detail, and calm problem-solving under tight live-event pressures.
Experience:
- Boutique Agency Leadership Possess a minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive event management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within a boutique experiential agency, luxury hospitality brand, or premium event services business.
- London Market Expertise Demonstrate unparalleled, firsthand knowledge of the London events landscape, including deep familiarity with premium venues, council licensing regulations, permits, and the expectations of a sophisticated UK and international clientele.
- Budgetary Mastery & P&L Ownership Prove a flawless track record of managing large-scale, complex event budgets and agency P&Ls, with sharp commercial acumen and sophisticated negotiation skills that protect creative vision while maximizing margin.
- Supplier & Network Influence Showcase a pre-existing, trusted black book of high-end vendors, freelance specialists, and elite artisan suppliers across London, enabling immediate deployment of top-tier talent for complex briefs.
- Education & Professional Background Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field, combined with exceptional poise, presentation skills, and the flexibility to oversee live event delivery during evenings and weekends.
