Client:
Our client is a boutque events services business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pipeline Generation & Territory Growth Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across corporate, luxury, and government sectors in Dubai and the wider UAE, expanding the company’s client portfolio and market share in live event services.
- Consultative Selling & Pitches Engage with C-level executives, marketing directors, and procurement leads to understand their experiential needs, confidently pitching customized event services, technical production capabilities, and creative spatial solutions to win high-value contracts.
- Proposal Development & Collaboration Partner closely with internal creative directors, 3D designers, and estimation teams to construct highly competitive, profitable, and logistically sound commercial proposals, ensuring alignment between client budgets and agency capabilities.
- Strategic Account Retention Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with newly acquired clients, securing repeat business, maximizing account lifetime value, and identifying cross-selling opportunities across the agency’s broader events ecosystem.
- Market Intelligence & CRM Management Track and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and upcoming major events in the region, while meticulously maintaining the CRM database to provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reports to senior leadership.
Experience:
- Events Sales Track Record Possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven business development or commercial sales experience specifically within the Dubai event services, technical production, experiential agency, or exhibition fabrication sectors.
- Established UAE Network Showcase an active, high-quality network of established corporate contacts, marketing decision-makers, agency partners, and government procurement leads within the UAE business landscape.
- Commercial & Negotiation Acumen Demonstrate strong financial literacy with a proven track record of managing complex negotiation cycles, structuring commercial contracts, and consistently hitting or exceeding aggressive annual sales targets.
- Technical & Creative Literacy Exhibit a solid understanding of live event components—including spatial design, staging, AV, lighting, and fabrication—allowing for confident, authoritative communication during client consultations.
- Education & Communication Background Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field, backed by impeccable presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills in English (Arabic is a major plus).
