Client:
Our client is a global events services business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spatial Design & Ideation Translate complex creative briefs into immersive 3D environments, including large-scale exhibition stands, luxury brand activations, corporate stages, and experiential pop-ups tailored for the Dubai market.
- Photorealistic Rendering & Visualization Produce high-end, photorealistic 3D renderings, walk-throughs, and mood boards that accurately showcase spatial layouts, lighting, textures, and material finishes to wow clients during high-value pitches.
- Technical Drawing & Specifying Generate precise construction drawings, floor plans, and elevation details with accurate measurements, ensuring creative designs can be seamlessly built by production and scenic workshop teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with the Creative Director, technical AV experts, and project managers to ensure design concepts are structurally feasible, budget-conscious, and logistically sound for live venue execution.
- Asset Management & Optimization Maintain an organized library of 3D assets, textures, and event venue templates, while staying ahead of global design trends, sustainable materials, and cutting-edge event production techniques.
Experience:
- 3D Event Design Experience Possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience as a 3D Designer within the experiential marketing, exhibition, or live events industry, supported by a strong portfolio of built projects.
- Software Proficiency Demonstrate expert-level mastery of industry-standard 3D software such as 3ds Max, Maya, or Cinema 4D, alongside rendering engines like V-Ray, Corona, or Unreal Engine, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Technical & Material Knowledge Exhibit a solid understanding of temporary structures, fabrication materials, lighting behaviors, and large-format print production to ensure designs translate flawlessly from screen to site.
- Dubai Venue Familiarity Show a strong understanding of Dubai's major event and exhibition venues, including DWTC and Madinat Jumeirah, factoring local venue restrictions and load-in logistics into spatial designs.
- Education & Portfolio Background Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Exhibition Design, or a related field, combined with an outstanding portfolio that highlights both creative flair and technical precision.
