Project Director

Our client is a Premier Boutqiue Events Services business based in Dubai, covering MENA.

This role requires a rare blend of sharp commercial acumen, sophisticated client diplomacy, and a deep, hands-on understanding of complex technical production.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery: Oversee the full lifecycle of major events from pitch win through production planning, onsite build, and execution.
• Commercial Ownership: Manage large-scale project budgets, optimize resource allocation, and protect profit margins (P&L responsibility).
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the senior agency liaison for high-profile corporate clients, government entities, and royal protocols.
• Team & Vendor Leadership: Direct internal multi-disciplinary teams (creative, technical, ops) and negotiate high-value contracts with local/international suppliers.
• Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to Dubai regulatory frameworks (DTCM permits, Dubai Municipality H&S, Civil Defense).

Candidate Profile

• Dubai Experience: 8–10 years in senior event management, with 3–5 years actively leading major projects in the UAE. Deep knowledge of local venues (DWTC, Expo City) is essential.
• Mega-Scale Portfolio: Proven track record of delivering complex events with budgets exceeding 5M+ AED.
• Technical Savvy: Strong understanding of scenic fabrication, AV/lighting capabilities, and temporary structures.
• Attributes: Exceptional crisis management skills, high emotional intelligence, and complete fluency in English (Arabic is a major plus).
