Boutique Events Services business
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation Develop and execute an agile commercial sales strategy targeted at luxury brands, corporate clients, and high-net-worth individuals in London, consistently driving revenue growth and achieving ambitious monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Inbound Lead Conversion & Pitching Qualify and close incoming inquiries swiftly, transforming initial client briefs into compelling, customized proposals that showcase the boutique agency's unique creative flair, personalized service, and high-end event execution capabilities.
- Outbound Business Development Proactively identify and engage prospective clients through strategic networking, industry events, and targeted outreach, building a robust pipeline of new business opportunities within London’s premium corporate and lifestyle sectors.
- Account Management & Upselling Nurture and retain a loyal portfolio of key accounts, conducting regular follow-ups post-event to secure repeat business, unlock cross-selling opportunities, and maximize the lifetime value of every client relationship.
- Collaborative Proposal Design Partner closely with the Head of Events and creative suppliers to ensure all commercial pitches are accurately costed, operationally feasible, and highly competitive, maintaining healthy profit margins for the boutique setup.
Experience:
- Boutique Event Sales Record Possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of successful sales or business development experience, with a proven track record of selling premium or luxury event services, boutique catering, or high-end venue spaces in London.
- London Luxury Market Acumen Demonstrate a deep understanding of the London luxury and corporate event landscape, including current experiential trends, competitor offerings, and the high standards expected by premium clientele.
- Commercial Negotiation Skills Prove a strong track record of closing high-value deals, navigating procurement processes, and structuring commercial agreements that protect creative delivery while optimizing agency profitability.
- Active Corporate Black Book Showcase a warm, pre-existing network of event planners, marketing directors, luxury brand managers, and PA/EA networks across London who regularly commission high-end event services.
- Education & Interpersonal Drive Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related discipline, backed by exceptional charm, persuasive presentation skills, and a relentless drive to hit targets in a fast-paced environment.
